Do you experience back pain, neck pain, carpal tunnel, or severe headaches? These problems could be symptoms of a more serious problem – those that result in long-term stress, poor posture, or unhealed injuries. Rather than suffer in silence have you considered chiropractic care?
The bones in your back called the vertebrae, work together in a very specific way. When everything is working well, your spine is strong, flexible, and aligned. The stress of daily living, poor posture, sports injuries or accidents can cause the bones in the spine to shift out of alignment, which may cause pain or alter your range of motion.
Chiropractors understand how to relieve this pain, discomfort, and reduced mobility wherever it may be in your body. Although Chiropractors are often thought of as “back doctors”, they are trained to assess and treat any joint or muscle complaint in the body. They also educate their patients on ways to improve posture, strengthen core stability, and prevent future re-injuries.
Classic chiropractic treatments involve the mobilization and manipulation of joints in the spine and extremities. Practitioners apply a specific amount of force with the hand, in a precise direction, to free a restricted and painful joint. Research indicates conservative chiropractic care is one of the most effective treatments for back pain, neck pain, and headaches.

Active Release Techniques (ART)
ART is a revolutionary approach to soft tissue management. Precisely directed tension is applied to adhesions in muscle, ligaments, tendons, and nerves, while the patient moves in a specific direction. ART is an active and empowering treatment in which the practitioner and patient work together to achieve desired results. Professional athletes, like our own Raptors, Maple Leafs and Blue Jays often use ART. ART has shown great success in treating carpal tunnel syndrome, neck and back pain, shoulder pain, and muscle strains.

Custom Made Orthotics
Custom made orthotics help to control abnormal foot position and motion, thereby predisposing you to better health. Dr. Densnow conducts a biomechanical analysis of the foot and ankle, a gait analysis, and shoe evaluation to determine the exact orthotic model needed. Orthotics can be effective for correcting and preventing the following: low back pain, knee and ankle pain, plantar fasciitis, neck pain, shin splints, toe pain, Achilles tendonitis, and bunions.
